Composing this post with my iPad and a Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad and wow, I can’t believe it took me this long to give it a shot. I may have to buy that new iPad Pro keyboard accessory from Apple, holy cow this is nice.
SUMMER GIVE ME SUMMER
A REAL KEYBOARD. And gestures. And tap to click. Magic. Magic!
(I sent my p ersonal laptop to some company to evaluate for trade-in, so I’ve been sorely missing a keyboard. Work laptop doesn’t count, I don’t like to shitpost on Oppo from a computer I don’t own.)
Anyway, hope everyone east of the Rockies (and north of those weirdos in Texas) is enjoying this last winter blast. 80º here by next Friday, but that’s a long way away. Summer please kthxbai.

What iPad and keyboard are you using? I’ve tried a few iPad keyboard cases but haven’t really loved any of them.
I do love a good keyboard on the iPad though, it’s usually good enough that I leave my personal laptop at home when I travel for work now.

2018 iPad Pro (the big one, 12.9”?), and Apple’s wireless Magic keyboard and trackpad.
I don’t need one this large, but it sure makes it easier to read PDFs (which I do on occasion when I’m pretending to learn more about my field) and makes for a great media watching tool (which I do the other 99% of my free time).

yeah - the weather is kinda messed up. It was 91 at the house today when it should be 52 and raining and yet it was snowing at my sister-in-laws outside of Detroit. Pretty sure its coronavirus...
